Week by week, Cam Newton is solidifying his spot as the Rookie of the Year, win or lose. Week by week, the Colts and Dolphins are that much closer to Andrew Luck. Notice I didn’t mention the Rams this week which could only mean one thing. And how about that ‘spooky’ Monday Night Football game? Hit the jump for a quick recap.
Week 8 Results:
St. Louis Rams (31) vs New Orleans Saints (21)
**WOW! WOW! WOW! Who would have thought the Rams would get their first win against the Saints who just put up 60+ points up in their last game. Brees played like shit and the score doesn’t reflect how much the Rams dominated this game.
Houston Texans (24) vs Jacksonville Jaguars (14)
**No Andre Johnson? No problem. Foster will handle the rest.
New York Giants (20) vs Miami Dolphins (17)
**The Dolphins actually had the Giants on their heels majority of the game. But Eli Manning is having an MVP like year and made sure he got his team the win.
Baltimore Ravens (30) vs Arizona Cardinals (27)
**This was an amazing game where the Ravens were down 21 points at one point. Boldin beasted against his former team and the second half was no contest.
Tennessee Titans (27) vs Indianapolis Colts (10)
**Colts just suck.
Carolina Panthers (21) vs Minnesota Vikings (24)
**Another great game where Cam throws for 3 touchdowns. Some amazing catches and Steve Smith is back! I don’t expect much from the Panthers this year but their future looks promising.
Denver Broncos (10) vs Detroit Lions (45)
**Tebow should have done a bit more Tebowing before this game. Lions absolutely dominated this game in every aspect.
Buffalo Bills (23) vs Washington Redskins (0)
**WTF are the Redskins doing?
Seattle Seahawks (12) vs Cincinnati Bengals (34)
**Another domination. The Bengals defense played great and I was wise to pick them up in fantasy this week.
Pittsburgh Steelers (25) vs New England Patriots (17)
**Tom Brady couldn’t get in sync at all. F*cked me fantasy this week!
San Francisco 49ers (20) vs Cleveland Browns (10)
**Can’t believe the 49ers are 6-1 but their playing solid football.
Philadelphia Eagles (34) vs Dallas Cowboys (7)
**Should have been a shutout but a blown coverage got the Cowboys on the board late.
MNF: Kansas City Chiefs (23) vs San Diego Chargers (20)
**Phillip Rivers screws his team two weeks in a row. What is he going to do against the Packers next week?
