Over this past weekend, we had the privilege to get media access for UCR’s annual Spring Splash concert series featuring Kendrick Lamar and Musiq Soulchild. Needless to say, the whole thing was DOPE! Check the jump! Musiq was Kendrick’s Co-headliner and went on first to a pretty big crowd. The amount of people that came out for Musiq wasn’t a surprise since he’s put out a large amount of memorable tracks. From Just Friends to IFULEAVE, his performance was soulful and had everyone vibing with him.

Kendrick came on the stage to close the show opening the show with Fuck Your Ethnicity. From then on he performed a great amount of tracks off of Section 80, as well as freestyles like Look Out For The Detox. Once again, Kendrick closed the show with his Dre assisted track The Recipe. Good Kid In A Mad City he is.
