Awhile back we stumbled into the world of Almost Always when they fed us The Singles, and that left me wanting more. “The album takes place behind the eyes of someone who has a second chance at life and describes stories, events, and scenarios that he sees differently during his journey” is how they summed it up. Their uncanny style puts me in mind of Hollyweerd which really drew me to their work. This isn’t your typical production or “rapper” if you will. Curbside Jones behind the lyrics and Corey Arnell handling production just makes sense, because who doesn’t like a storyteller with swagger? Enjoy.
