As if the Summer wasn’t already hot enough, Pusha sits down with Fuse at Coachella and reveals all the heavy hitters who have contributed to what I think will be one of the candidates for Hip-Hop album of the year, My Name is My Name. Notably this track: Pusha T Feat. Kendrick Lamar – “________” Produced by Nottz

Every Spring in Southern California, legends and up and coming artists assemble at the Paid Dues Music Festival hosted by Murs and Guerilla Union to put on one of the biggest shows of the year for Hip Hop’s loyal fans. This year, the Paid Dues lineup didn’t hold out on fans, and the fans responded with the masses, with over 25,000 fans filling up the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California. From Mobb Deep, Talib Kweli, Jean Grae (the only female artist on the lineup) to Joey Bada$$ and Flatbush Zombies, the span of decades covered for Hip Hop fans was very diverse. Headlining the event we’re most recent breakout artists like Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Black Hippy, and Dom Kennedy. With a lineup like that, it’s safe to say that the day was constantly active on any of the three stages that Paid Dues had to offer.

Early last week, Guerilla Union announced that this years Paid Dues festival will be making a venue change to San Manuel’s Amphitheater (formally Glenn Helen), because of limited parking spaces they year. Check out he full press release here. I actually like this venue better because of the grass area and hopefully there will be better reception. They also announced the full list of set times and VIP meet & greet times as well. Be sure to grab your tickets for the festival if you haven’t already done so.

The very dope member of the Los Angeles Leakers Janice Llamoca got the chance to chop it up with Scoop Deville (producer of Kendrick’s “Poetic Justice” & “The Recipe”) about the influence his hit singles have had on the culture and that he’s glad its made the impact it’s made throughout radio and the charts. Not only did she get to sit down with Scoop, she also got a surpises drop in from Mibbs from Pac Div and ironically him and Mibbs have a new EP dropping soon called “Freebass” which they told us to lookout for as well.

Shortly after putting together the soulfully constructed “Reign” that dropped a few weeks ago, 9th and KRIT have officially started working on his newest project, ‘King Remembered In Time’ and from what this video tells, it sounds like its about to be something serious. Actually can’t wait for what they come up with for this new project. Should be coming sometime very very soon.
