Straight off of the heat from his latest mix tape Folarin, Wale is taking the show on the road and hitting 5 cities to promote and push the project just a little bit more. Check out the dates for the tour above.

As you may or may not know our very good friend Stevie Crooks has just kicked off his campaign to make it onto the Paid Dues Festival this year and we had our first Rally out in @ The Vibe in Riverside last week. The show was CRAZY. Never seen a more packed house @ The Common Ground, either way the video above shows you just what I mean. If you can, PLEASE support The Villain and tweet: I want to see @StevieCrooks at @Paid_Dues!!!

So glad to hear KRIT is already back to work and ready to give us something new. In this clip we see that he’s in the lab with my pick for 2012 Producer of the Year, Mike Will Made It which already makes me excited for what they have coming up together. He also gives us a heads up about his new project, “KRIT”, which is coming sometime this year. Awesome news.

Beyonce and her husband never quits working it seems, just a few days after revealing her revealing GQ cover she gives us a look into the day to day life at work, during her pregnancy and everything else. The doc airs on HBO, February 16th @ 9pm.

After the acting debut, the acquisition of the New MySpace, and a recent marriage to one of the most beautiful women in the world, it seems like Justin Timberlake is ready to make his way back to his first love of music. It’s been a long 6 years since we have gotten any music from Mr. Timberlake, a bit too long for some. Either way he gives us a brief reason of why he has been gone so long stating that he is “ready” to go back at what he loves. We are slso hearing that he is working with work with Timbaland to produced the whole new album. Hopefully the old Jive label woes wwith him and Pharrell wont stope them from making music with The Neptunes (Pharrell Williams & Chad Hugo) as well. Be sure to be on the lookout for the first record which is produced by Timbaland and supposedly features Jay-Z AND Beyonce’.

Days after releasing their recent mixtape PEEP: The aPROcalypse, Joey Bada$$ and Pro Era rapper, Capital STEEZ a.k.a Jamal Dewar, has passed away. As of now, no news has been released on the cause of death, however it is believed that STEEZ may have taken his own life following a tweet at midnight stating, “The End”.
Dewar began to gain some recognition after Pro Era affiliate, Joey Bada$$ broke on the scene with his 1999 mixtape earlier this year and also after dropping his own project, AmeriKKKan Korruption.
Our prayers go out to his family and the Pro Era team. R.I.P. Jamal Dewar.
