Hmm. I guess we will be getting a Cruel Winter album from the GOOD Music camp. I’m guessing it will drop in Spring?

Jayceon speaks to MTV on the reactions that he got from the album art of his newest album Jesus Piece and why he chose the cover.

“That’s basically what it is for me. I did the album cover the way I wanted to. It embodies part of my career, my life; it’s all in that cover. And, you know, I love God, Jesus Christ is my savior and I’m still out here thuggin’.”

How do you guys feel about the cover? Sacrilegious? Good, Bad? Decent? Bueller?

I ran across this teaser For Ryan McDermott’s “Paradise” as say the words “GOOD Music Signee” across the top and was wondering who the hell is Ryan McDermontt? Well for starters the vid mostly has a girl in it, which is kind of misleading and 2 the beat is at a very slow tempo for a rapper so I will fo out on a limb asnd say that he’s an R&B singer that has been added to the 2nd wave of the GOOD Music roster. Not to mention his Twitter says Island Def Jam, which you may or may not know houses a very big portion of contemporary and R&B artists such as Babyface and Justin Bieber.

In the 35 second teaser we hear the beat (which sounds like something reminiscent of The Dream/Tricky Stewart sound), some visual and a promise of getting the full thing later this week, Halloween to be exact. Either way I’m intrigued, only because we all know that Ye wouldn’t add someone to his team who isn’t fit for stardom or has any talent whatsoever, so he has to be something to marvel about, right? I guess we will have to see on 10/31.

Maya is among the other artists to join the paperback business just like Common, Pharrell, and Jay-Z have done recently and in the past. In this release entitled M.I.A. The Book, she gives us a look into a more personal look into her life, family, music and a lot more. Check out the trailer above and purchase the book on Amazon.

As he always comes through with the interviews, SD comes through with one that is deff worth checking out. After bumping into Young Guru a few weeks ago @ A3C and chopped it up with him about the importance of Jay’s Barclays center, the music we will never hear from Jay and touches on worthing with the other Jay (Electronica) on his debut album.
