10-15-10 is the date CSNW was launched. We just hit 2 years, which is phenomenal and crazy to me. But I put togeher this nice little press release as a Thank You for everyone’s support in putting this place where it is now. Hit to jump for some memories, laughs and some cool stuff. It seems like the whole industry is waiting on the release of the debut album “good kid, m.A.A.d city” from Compton MC Kendrick Lamar this coming October 22nd. The promising album is sure to please fans new and old, with production and features from Dr. Dre, Sounwave, Drake, MJB, Hit-Boy and many more. But before the album arrives CSNW wanted to give you guys a little something special before, like a pre-album kinda deal. So in the same fashion as our Frank Ocean “white.” EP we released this past summer we decided to give you guys a nice catch up session.
With that said we really wanted to make this release special so we teamed up with the team of gorgeous gals over at Womazing.com who were totally antsy about doing the project with us. In short, this EP will serve as a refresher to everyone who has missed some work of Kendrick’s as well as some gems packaged with the project too. October 15th, 2010 is when this CSNW plane first took off and its been a crazy ride ever since. Long story short we thank everyone who rides with us everyday through all this shit, its not easy but somehow you guys make it all possible. Thank You to everyone who supports us and wants to see us win because we do it for you guys each and single second of everyday.
We do have a few surprises and little things set up for you guys this Fall though, throughout the month that we are setting up for you all over here. We are in the process of getting those together as we speak. So in that I’m not saying we are going to have something to give you guys and I’m not saying we won’t, but just know that Monday, October 15th 2012 we are turning 2 years old and we invite you guys out to celebrate it with us. CSNW is doing pretty well and i LOVE what is going to and about to happen in the next few weeks. I think that there is always room for expansion. Been wanting to tell yall this for a week but i wanted to make sure things were all good. A good friend hit me up last week and asked me to a part of of his sites team. Now this doesn’t mean that NW is going anywhere because its not, im just trying to get some more writing experience and get it out there more. So, with that being said i am apart of the small but cool team of Ear Style. A site that is pretty damn cool that is in the same vein as CSNW. A cool site dedicated to bring you what’s new in music, fashion and life. I am looking to collaborate with Zay on some things and get a good partnership going.
