Every Spring in Southern California, legends and up and coming artists assemble at the Paid Dues Music Festival hosted by Murs and Guerilla Union to put on one of the biggest shows of the year for Hip Hop’s loyal fans. This year, the Paid Dues lineup didn’t hold out on fans, and the fans responded with the masses, with over 25,000 fans filling up the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California. From Mobb Deep, Talib Kweli, Jean Grae (the only female artist on the lineup) to Joey Bada$$ and Flatbush Zombies, the span of decades covered for Hip Hop fans was very diverse. Headlining the event we’re most recent breakout artists like Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Black Hippy, and Dom Kennedy. With a lineup like that, it’s safe to say that the day was constantly active on any of the three stages that Paid Dues had to offer.

During Hit Boy’s performance at The Glasshouse last week, one of Inland Empire’s biggest talents brought out Dom Kennedy and Casey Veggies to perform his own produced track, “CDC”.

Dom Kennedy stops by Power 106′s LA Leakers to tell about how and why he named his new album “Get Home Safely”. Sounds like a great album title to be honest, its true, honest and very humbling. Be on the lookout for that coming sometime next year.

Oh you thought we had fell off huh? Well not yet. Just had a few weeks off living life and all that. Either way we are back to finish up the year strong. Two past weeks as well as this weeks. Records from Kanye West, Asher Roth, Donell Jones, Kaya, Dom Kennedy, Curren$y, Emily King, The Isley Brothers and many many more. Hit the jump and enjoy.

4 WEEKS LEFT!!!

Dom Kennedy stops by Big Boy’s Neighborhood out on the West and talks to the team bout his life, touring and more importantly, his new album Get Home Safely, which he said will be his first REAL album as far as having physical copies being made and sold in stores. He tells that the project is dear to his heart and that it is on its way next year in Spring or early Summer. He also tells a little bit about his old rap name, and where he got his rap name now from.

In lieu of it getting much colder during this time of year, I’m sure you have become aware of this natural occurrence that some might call “Cuffing Season”, or Mating Season. The detail of this season are clear, to find someone that will be able to keep you warm all season long and in that time you might end up with a potential future with that person later on down the line. And since the holidays are right around the corner we figured out a little something for you guys.

Us CSNW are always thinking of new ways to keep you guys going so we had an idea. We wanted to create that PERFECT soundtrack to anyone and everyone’s seasonal cuffing activities so we planned out an EP, specially catered to making what “Cuffing Season” is all about. “The CUFF EP” is split into three parts, The Warm-Up, Make Your Move and last but definitely not least, The Cuff. Hopefully this will be the jumpstart to anyone who is having a hard time locating or making that move for a potential cuff this season. The project features appearances by Joe, Mr. Cheeks, Chris Brown, SWV, *N Sync, Dom Kennedy, Usher, Snoop Dogg, Frank Ocean, Cam’Ron, Mobb Deep, Craig David, Musiq Soulchild and many more. Hopefully you guys will enjoy it as much as we did coming up with it. Lookout for Volume 2 coming later in the season. Tracklist and where to download it below.
