P has now launched his ‘I am Other’ brand full of artists, musicians, and more. No more Star Trak, but i think this is the “Spaceship” he wanted to build a very long time ago. Sounds dope to me. Some of the artists include Buddy, Leah Labelle & Maxine Ashley. More info as things develop.
As Pharrell Williams touched down in Hong Kong last week to attend Carrera Presents Liberatum Hong Kong International Festival of Culture, the multi-faceted creative had a chance to sit down with HBTV amidst the pre-opening for Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin Hong Kong to converse about his personal interest in art as well as his creative process. With a resume that spans a vast range of creative mediums from music, film scoring, industrial design, sound design, and fashion design, Pharrell is one of the few individuals who are able to balance a diversity of projects while seamlessly maintaining consistency in his own identity as each endeavor unfolds. In our first colloquial dialogue with Pharrell — of which there will be an eventual two parts — he touches on everything from art, managing projects, his thoughts on the difference of American and Asian cuisine as well as sharing memories from his past experiences with NIGO.

After getting BBC (Billionarie Boys Club) off the ground and creating a very successful line of work he has FINALLY decided to take it a step further and spread it to women which is LONG overdue in my eyes. The sporty first line will be available in five tri-blend colors and will only be sold through BBC/BGC. Definitely something fresh for the women to rock this winter/spring. The Legend and one of my many inspirations is finally opening up the lane for the ladies. This comes after partnering with Jay-Z and sharing creative space earlier this yea. The Merger isn’t complete without the ladies. I know a lot of women are excited about this. P is also taking the scribing route of creating his own book, which without a doubt i know will be nothing short of creative. Truly an inspiration. Read more about it here.
Making their Project tradeshow debut, Billionaire Boys Club gave us a peek into their Spring 2012 Collection. Following familiar themes, the line includes much of the bold BBC imagery we’ve seen over the season including the astronaut, airplane and more in a somewhat more refined, preppy look. The varsity and yellow raincoat are both good looks. The prices have dropped some and this comes after the Jay-z x Pharrell partnership. I’m eager to see what BBC has up their sleeve next. Been a long time…
After years and years and years of only the first three minutes hitting the net back in 2004, the full-length debut film starring Pharrell Williams titled, Ecology of Love finally hit the web.
It’s a story of a stylish romance centering on a broken-hearted urbanite named Andre (Pharrell) who after breaking down and getting stranded in a desert, unearths the resources to woo a French-speaking woman (Dania Rmairez) at a lonely motel.
The 18-minute short features the Neptunes-remix of Sade’s classic hit, “By Your Side” as well as Junior M.A.F.I.A.’s 1995 single, “Get Money.”
Is Skateboard P ready for the big screen? Or should he just settle for the meek comedic film cameos as seen in Get Him To The Greek. There’s really no doubting dude’s talent, though.
