“The Avengers” Movie Review

Just like the beginning of every Marvel movie, we see the comic book pages flip through the movie we are about to see and that’s when my heart sank and it finally hit me. ‘The Avengers’ (Official Movie Trailer)

Aside from the ‘Michael Bay’ intro, all I can say is WOW and I can’t f*ckin’ wait! The chemistry between Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Evans (Captain America), and Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) looks amazing! Not to mention Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and the oh so fine in tight leather Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow. Tom Hiddleston as Loki seems like he can actually carry the movie as the main villain. Make sure you watch the entire trailer so you don’t miss anything.

The Avengers will be released May 4, 2012.

Movies: New Still From Sherlock Holmes 2

Currently filming in France, and scheduled for theatrical release December 16th, 2011, this new image from the highly anticipated sequel to Sherlock Holmes teases a horrific disaster.

Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law are reprising their roles as Holmes & Watson for the film alongside franchise newcomers Noomi Rapace (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) as the female lead Sim, Stephen Fry as Sherlock’s older brother, Mycroft and Jared Harris as the villainous Professor Moriarty. Directed by Guy Ritchie, Sherlock Holmes 2 is scheduled for theatrical release December 16th, 2011.

Set in 1891 — a year after the last film’s events — the sequel shows Holmes continuing his pursuit of Professor Moriarty (played by Jared Harris), who, if the investigator’s instincts are correct, might be the world’s first supervillain. Watson, meanwhile, is still trying to be a good partner to his love, Mary Morstan (Kelly Reilly), while keeping Sherlock alive.
