So Word is that Def Jam Recording’s New Book “Def Jam Recordings: The First 25 Years of the Last Great Record Label.” is set to be in Book Stores this September. The 300 + page book features Comments,and Contributes from Artists such as Jay-Z, LL Cool J, The Beastie Boys , Reverend Run of Run-DMC, Ice-T, and more. The Book was written by Bill Adler as well as Dan Charnas, Def Jam’s founding Publicist. Rickey Powell, Martha Cooper, and Johnathon Mannion are just a few of the photographers that contributed photo’s to the upcoming book, and are some of the best photographers in the Hip Hop Industry.
