After going through a tumultuous trial over the contents of his stolen laptop with a pending appeal trial coming up in the future Ryan Leslie is still hard at working making great music for his fans after delivering “Les Is More” a few months ago. The web has been buzzing since Justin’s hints of new music and last night we got the first taste. As exciting as it was to get a new JT – Timbo – Hov collab, I find Les’ remix slightly more refreshing. Ryan Leslie opens his ‘refix’ with a verse at the beginning and leaves the rest of the song as it was. ENJOY!

December 7th, 2012 | Posted by in Culture | News | Videos - (2 Comments)After going through what seems like a tumultuous 2 years of constant struggle with the laptop that was stolen from him about 2 years ago, Ryan Leslie is finally starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel, still having to pay the man who returned it (with no material on it at all) 1 Million dollars. Ryan is refusing to pay the man because the contents of what he thought were on there, were gone.
So in this clip you can see Mr. Leslie coming out of the courtroom with lawyers discussing the case, as well as hear about the firestorm of media reporting on the situation. As a result of this financial hardship, he offers to us The Black Mozart EP, a collection of records that is either a follow-up or afterthought of his most recent album Les Is More. Be on the lookout for that and say a prayer for Ryan.

After a couple years of waiting we finally get a solid release date for Ryan’s upcoming album, Les Is More. More being that this is actually Leslie’s first rap album, I’m not too sure of what I should think about that but we will have to see when it hits stores via his Next Selection Lifestyle label October 23rd.
