In no way is Macklemore a newcomer to Hip hop, but he’s been under the radar for quite some time, until now. Macklemore linked up with Ryan Lewis a few years ago to drop The VS. EP, and now they’ve finally released their newest project and first studio album The Heist. The Seattle native links up with TDE affiliates Schoolboy Q and soul brother number deuce, Ab Soul. Despite not having a bunch of hype, best believe this may be one of the best albums of the year. Sadly I can’t provide a link, but drop some change and pick this shit up.

Music Video: MacklemoreXRyan Lewis – Wings
July 21st, 2011 | Posted by in Uncategorized - (0 Comments)When I first heard this song, I became a fan of Macklemore. This song came out a while ago and the video was announced shortly after, but it’s been worth the wait. The song is “Wings” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. While the song seems like a song about kicks from the start, it really delves into the evils arise from our fascination with something as simple as shoes. The message of the song is heavy but really deep and sincere.
