Twelve weeks in the books, 11 games played and with only 5 to go, teams need to win out their division. The Packers are pretty much set in the NFC. The AFC is still competitive for that #1 & #2 seed so it’s really going to get interesting. Injuries continue to pile and could Brett Favre suit up once again? Roger Goodell has some fines to hand out as well. Hit the jump to find out what happened!

Another week in the books and every team has now played 10 games. No more bye weeks for the remaining 6 weeks and time to get down to the nitty gritty. The Packers are STILL undefeated at 10-0 and since the Colts didn’t play, their STILL 0-10. I didn’t think I would see another team go winless since the Detroit Lions for at least 10 years. Okay, I’m seriously not trying to implement the number 10 in every other sentence but it just happened to happen that way. Anyways, let’s hit the jump and recap the week.

Thursday night games until week 16 so it’s time to be sending in those picks sooner. What a start to Thursday Night Football with the Oakland Raiders goin’ into San Diego to take first place in the division. The Colts suffered another loss and they don’t have to worry about adding another one this week since they are on a bye. Major injuries like Matt Schaub and Matt Cassel have put both the Texans and Chiefs, respectively into limbo to make the playoffs. But as the saying goes, “Any Given Sunday.” So who do you have this week?

It’s been a pretty good weekend of football. A couple of upsets while other teams are continuing to solidify their place in the playoffs. The Packers are now 9-0 and the 49ers are right behind them at 8-1. The Colts remain winless and the ‘Dream Team’ suffers another loss. Cam Newton was brought down to reality while Tebow completes two passes for a victory against the Chiefs. That shit Cray! Hit the jump to read the rest of the recap.

It’s a short week and all 32 teams will play this week starting with the Oakland Raiders visiting the San Diego Chargers to kick-off Thursday Night Football. The winner of this game has a chance to be the sole leader of the division after week 10, considering Denver beats Kansas City. The Colts have a chance of finally getting their first win against the Jaguars but I’m sure MJD won’t make it easy. Pittsburgh plays another division rivals in a short week against the Bengals, who are hot. Will the Steelers lose two in a row? Hit the jump for the rest of schedule and e-mail me your picks.

Every time the Eagles lose, they look more and more like a flop. Especially with a 3-5 record for the “dream team.” Stupid Vince Young. The Packers remain undefeated after a thriller in San Diego while Atlanta went to town on the Colts, who is now the only winless team. Teams get their revenge while division races get extremely tight. Hit the jump for the recap.

I apologize for the late post and because I lagged it, the deadline has been extended until 9:00am tomorrow for your submissions. Anyways.. on to week 9! We are officially at the midway points. Will the 49ers be crowned NFC West champs this week? Might as well, their up 4 games from the Seahawks. The AFC North & West will be very interesting for the next couple of weeks. In the North, Pittsburgh is leading the division but is only up a half game in front of the Ravens and Bengals. Meanwhile in the West, there is a three-way tie between the Chargers, Raiders, and Chiefs for first. Could this be the week the Colts get their first win? Or even Miami? Hit the jump make your picks and tune in Sunday to find out.

Week by week, Cam Newton is solidifying his spot as the Rookie of the Year, win or lose. Week by week, the Colts and Dolphins are that much closer to Andrew Luck. Notice I didn’t mention the Rams this week which could only mean one thing. And how about that ‘spooky’ Monday Night Football game? Hit the jump for a quick recap.

Finally I have a weekend where I don’t have to stress about football because my team isn’t playing. But that doesn’t mean that I can’t continue to make picks and have others compete. Now we’re reaching the midway point of the season and many division titles are up for grabs while others are pretty much set. The 49ers have all but already won the NFC West unless they have a complete breakdown. The NFC North can get interesting with the Packers and Lions doin’ so well. The Chargers don’t look like they will be running away with the AFC West as it’s completely wide open now with the Raiders and Chiefs chasing. Actually, the entire AFC is up for grabs. That being said, it’s time for teams to buckle down and make a push. So hit the jump and make your picks on who will be the better team this Sunday!
